Charles (Selig) was born on March 6th, 1897.  Charles (Selig)'s father was Paltiel Dov (Barnet) Kalmovitz (Kalmovitch) and his mother was Rebecca Hanison.  His paternal grandparents were Zodek Kelmovitz and Henna Feiga Remigolsky.  He had six brothers and two sisters, named Jack (Yaakov), Sid (Israel), Samuel (Shmuel), Aubrey (Avraham), Robert (Yitzhak), Joseph George, Sarah and Anne (Channah Feige).  He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 80 on February 25th, 1978.
