Matan's father is Shimshon Rosen and his mother is Anat (Nati) Tamir.  His maternal grandfather was Avraham Tamir (Hochman) and his maternal grandmother is Shulamit (Shula) Ashbell אַשְׁבֶּל.  He has two brothers named Or and Eran.
