Doreen was born on December 23rd, 1921.  Doreen's father was Saul (Sol) Leon Jacobson and her mother was Milly Sher.  Her maternal grandparents were Jacob Sher and Nora (Nechamah) Cohen.  She had two sisters named Betty and Freda Joy.  She was the second oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 51 on January 9th, 1973.
